If something is established in life is that there's no specific time for breakfast, some say it's the most important meal of the day, but we all know that breakfast, or on a more trending note "Brunch", has become the most social meal, specially on Sundays.
In our latest trip to Aguadilla, PR we fell in love with Mona. A super cute café right off PR 107 with free valet and an amazing staff that matches perfectly with the place. We felt relax and happy as soon as we walked through the door. Personally I think it's not easy to pull off blue walls but hey! Mona has blue walls and they kind of remind me of the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's", so I'll say they pull it off, let me know what you think?
The most complicated thing that afternoon was choosing what to eat. They were so many choices and they all sounded amazing, the only thing we were certain is that we wanted coffee, 12oz extra shot mouthwatering coffee. With our fingers crossed and a body demanding caffeine we waited for the coffee, and hey Mona delivered, hot (not burning) strong coffee to our table.
While sipping coffee the difficult decision needed to be made, so we ordered The Extreme Waffle and The Club Madame. From all the things we wanted to taste, this two were on top. Once again Mona delivered, two plates full of flavor, peculiar combinations but keep an open mind and an even open stomach because theres a lot of food. Theres many plates we wished we ordered, but hey we will visit Mona again.
Don't worry if breakfast is not your thing (which Im worried for you) Mona has a variety of plates for lunch and dinner. So, Mona should be on your top list to visit on the west. Share with us you experience in the comment section!
Until next time, Jailene.
